Esperanza is a Gestalt Psychotherapist in private practice since 2007. She is also a therapy trainer as faculty member of the Gestalt Therapy Brisbane institute and the former Sydney Gestalt Institute. She is a workshop facilitator and conference presenter in Australia and overseas.
Individual therapy - Esperanza focuses on the day-to-day experience of depression, anxiety, addictions and mental illness to nurture a more empowered and balanced life.
Couples therapy - In her work with couples, partners contrast conflict, trauma and disconnection with repair, intimacy and risking to trust, to grow a deeper relationship.
Group programs - Esperanza offers Heal & Thrive addressing trauma recovery; Anger and emotional awareness program focusing on understanding and developing safe ways to express yourself; and the Couples Clinic exploring recurring conflict patterns.
Esperanza holds a Master of Gestalt Psychotherapy; a Master of Forensic Mental Health and Master of Communication; she is a qualified Clinical Supervisor. Esperanza is a Clinical Member of PACFA and GANZ and holds a Medibank Private Provider Number.
