Heal & Thrive

Trauma Recovery Through Creative Expression

Who is Heal and Thrive for?

I have designed this small group session to reach anyone who wants to stop being stuck in traumatic responses, and move on to explore living more joyfully.

Heal and Thrive provides the safety of a trauma-informed  session which mindfully steers you away from re-traumatisation, whilst nourishing your ability to move beyond anger, anxiety and other habitual trauma responses. Explore who you are behind the layer of trauma.

Join a safe environment where you can experience how you have changed after trauma what you have lost and how you have grown; what you have discovered about yourself and who you have become after your traumatic experiences.

This session is of value if you ...

  • have experienced childhood trauma
  • feel diminished or undervalued in your personal or work relationships
  • would like to have the confidence to move towards the life you want.

For the human in you

Heal & Thrive provides you with a day of enrichment and emotional integration, by compassionately and creatively exploring:

  • negative and overwhelming self-talk resulting from your traumatic experiences
  • embracing your wholeness post trauma
  • being affirmed for how you have managed to survive post trauma, and entertaining the question, what next?

Emotional Awareness Program

Are you the one who...

I can see the fear in my children when I come home.

I lashed out at my partner again.

I got into a fight with a stranger.

My anger goes from 0 to 100 in a split second.

Join a supportive group focused on understanding and developing safe ways to express yourself.

Letter of completion provided for court matters.

Experiential personal and group work

From understanding to positive change. Personal and group work on anger issues and expression.

The program focuses on positive relationships, both personal and professional - in the family, at work, in society in general. It is conflict and violenceinformed and some of the areas included are:

  • Beliefs and values - Your thoughts on social and family values that make it hard for you to respond constructively.
  • Explosion: From cool to explosion. The physiological and biological changes taking place and the moment-to-moment experience supporting them
  • Implosion: From hurt to illness. The link between suppressed anger and illness such as depression and addictions. The ‘silent treatment’ as an expression of anger
  • TriggersIdentify the situations that trigger you and communicate yourself clearly and non-aggressively. The feelings and experiences that trigger your anger, and work with their origins.
  • Solutions: The red flags towards a violent action as they appear in your bodily sensations, emotions and thoughts, and how to de-escalate, reframe and grow into a constructive response.
